The Susan W. Adam Lewy body dementia Lecture featuring Stephen Gomperts, M.D., Ph.D.

The Susan W. Adam Lewy body dementia lecture will feature a presentation and Q&A session with Stephen Gomperts, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Gomperts is Director of the MGH Lewy Body Dementia (LBD) Unit and Physician in both the Memory Disorders and Movement Disorders Units of the LBDA Research Center of Excellence at Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed clinical fellowships in Memory Disorders and Movement Disorders at MGH in 2007 and is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. He sees patients across a range of neurodegenerative conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and LBD. His research activities include the investigation of mechanisms of brain function and failure in neurodegenerative diseases and the application of innovative PET imaging methods to improve understanding and treatment of LBD.
