Register today for Hallucinations, Delusions and Paranoia: Navigating the Complex Psychiatric Symptoms of Lewy Body Dementia, presented by the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Dodge County (ADRC) in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
Lewy body dementia (LBD) is the second most common cause of progressive dementia and presents unique symptoms and challenges compared to other types of dementia. The psychiatric symptoms of LBD, including psychosis and changes to mood, are often reported to be the most challenging for families to cope with and for health care providers to address.
Join Julia Wood, Occupational Therapist and LBDA Director of Professional and Community Education as she breaks down and explains these symptoms and addresses strategies for management.
This event is open to the public. For questions or assistance with registering, please call 920-386-4308.
