Living with purpose has been referred to in research as “a psychological resource for aging well.” Studies suggest that having a sense of purpose can facilitate resilience in the face of challenges to our wellbeing, including cognitive impairment and dementia.
Join host Julia Wood, MOT, OTR/L, LBDA Director of Professional & Community Education and a panel of true experts, those living with Lewy body dementia, as we attempt to define what it means to live with purpose and what the research tells us about how it can benefit our health and well-being. Panelists will include people living with LBD and care partners from the LBDA community discussing how they find purpose and engage meaningfully in life.
