Melissa Armstrong, MD, MSc directs the University of Florida Health Mangurian Clinical-Research Headquarters for Lewy Body Dementia, one of the LBDA Research Centers of Excellence. This clinic is located at the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases. Dr. Armstrong’s LBD Life Lab has funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Florida Department of Health. Her research focuses on the lived experiences of people with Lewy body dementia and their families, including in the moderate-advanced stages.
