Post My movie bucket list
Hey kids, we all know that as time goes on, we are all slowly forgetting more and more of our favorite movies and in some cases its like seeing them again for the first time. So I decided to use that to my benefit and created a movie bucket list of sorts, movies I want to make sure I see again when I have forgotten them enough. Here is my list from my collection:
    Star Wars 4,5,6
    Matrix Trilogy
    Lord of the Rings Trilogy
    Cool Hand Luke
    Casablanca
    Dark City
    Raiders of the Lost Ark
    The Sting
    Die Hard
Ed Wood double feature: Plan 9 From Outer Space and Bride of the Monster.
    Escape From New York
    To Kill A Mocking Bird
    Wanted
    The Toxic Avenger
    When Worlds Collide
    The Blues Brothers
    Blazing Saddles
    Young Frankenstein
    Caddyshack
    Ghostbusters (original)
    Stripes
    From Dusk Till Dawn
    Apollo 13
    Heavy Metal (1980-something)
    Army of Darkness
    300
    Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Killer
Original Universal Wolfman (Chaney), Dracula (Lugosi) and Frankenstein (Karloff)
    Phantasm
    Odd Thomas
    Enter The Dragon
    Return of The Dragon
    Game of Death
    Stargate
    The Thing (John Carpenter version)
    The Abyss
    Terminator
    2001 A Space Odyssey
    Blade (Directors Cut)
Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan
    Pitch Black
    The Watchmen
    Kickass
    Batman: The Dark Knight
    Sin City
    The Changeling (George C Scott)
    The Martian
    LA Confidential
    Leon the Professional
    Memento
    The Hunt for Red October
    High Plains Drifter
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
    Kellys' Heroes
    The Dirty Dozen
    The Enemy Below
    The Great Escape
    Run Silent Run Deep

So whats on your list?

Hey man, that's a pretty awesome list. Overall I really can't disagree with it and most would definitely be on my list. Although I wouldn't be over the moon about the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (my wife would watch it for days with you), wasn't overwhelmed by 300 and don't know anything about Heavy Metal. The rest, though, are quality. Like old friends.

Well, LotR trilogy and 300 are on the list for the same reason; that after I forget enough about them their respective SFX are amazing and at the time, singular. Heavy Metal is a 1980s animated flick based on stories in the magazine Heavy Metal. On top of having great source material and for its time amazing animation, it had the most amazing soundtrack, with biggies from Sammy Hagar to Blue Oyster Cult to Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and more. Pretty adult for its time, its the visuals and storylines that keeps me coming back..

I will be including an HD version of this flick in the care package. Think of it as dinner and...2000 movies...heh.
