LBD Cargiver Feedback Needed
To help meet the goals of the 2012-2015 LBDA Strategic Plan, the Lewy Body Dementia Association is creating an LBD Community Discussion Panel of individuals whose lives have been touched by LBD. This Panel will include
individuals who know or care for someone with LBD and it may include
individuals with early LBD. This Panel will provide feedback to LBDA about how LBD has impacted their lives, as well as providing feedback during the planning, implementation and evaluation of new initiatives across a variety of LBDA's initiatives.
Participants will represent a cross section of LBD caregivers, because LBD affects persons of all races, religions and educational backgrounds.
We are looking for individuals who would be willing to share their opinions and who would interact constructively with other group members. The Panel will meet periodically
via teleconference and review materials online or by email. Participants would be expected to commit no more than 5 hours per quarter to the work of the panel. We anticipate that the panel will consist of approximately 20-30 members who will serve a two-year term.
If you are interested in participating,
please send an email to lendahand@lbda.org by Monday, February 11, 2013 with the following information:
• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Description of why you feel you would be well-suited for the group.
LBDA will then send you a link to an online survey for more information about your experience with LBD.
If you have any questions about the Panel, please contact LaToysa Scaife-Rooks, LBDA's Volunteer and Program Coordinator, at
lendahand@lbda.org.
Thank you for considering this important volunteer opportunity!
