Post = attack site?; more Forum website problems
I went to both and the LBDA Forum ( at 6:30am PT today, and got this security warning in my Firefox browser window:

This web site at has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Attack sites try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.

Some attack sites intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.

I'm given a few options:
* Get me out of here!
* Why was this site blocked?
* Ignore this warning (very small print)

I clicked on "Why was this site blocked" and see that this is a Google warning: ... .org/forum

I have reported this to the LBDA and's webmaster. I hope they can fix this ASAP because no one will want to visit the site with all these security warnings!

Post An Important Website Alert from LBDA
Robin and everyone,

While this message is indeed very scary, the good news is that our website vendor was right on Robin's heels to contact LBDA about the problem and they had already ensured that our site is safe to use.

The following announcement is going out via email to all newsletter subscribers, being posted on our forum, to the Yahoo support groups, to volunteers, etc. It is also now posted on our homepage.

Our appreciation goes out to Robin for being the first person to notify us of this problem!

An Important Website Alert from LBDA

Some visitors who are accessing LBDA’s website via a Google search or the Firefox browser are temporarily receiving a warning that LBDA’s website may contain harmful software. This was due to a third party script that infected our website vendor’s server. Thankfully, the script was immediately contained and is safe for all visitors to use.

Our website vendor is working closely with Google to remove the warning announcement, though it will take a day or two for that process to be complete. In the meantime, they will be moving our website to another server which has not been flagged by Google. Our site will be down briefly (less than an hour) sometime in the next 24 hours.

We appreciate your patience while this problem is fully resolved.

Is everyone else as frustrated with the Forum as I am?

The malware/hacker problem finally got fixed late Tuesday 6/30, and since then the site has been either down entirely or, this morning, the site was viewable for messages but not for posting.

The website vendor has apparently changed the URL to (rather than

Each web page loads *very* slowly.

I hope these problems on and the Forum can end soon...

An update a short while later: When I posted the message above, I received an error message. However, the post did appear.
