Gone Too Soon
My husband of thirty-three years passed away last October of Lewy Body Dementia. It apparently began to reveal itself with sleep disturbances going back about eight years ago. In the last two or three years he was beginning to decline in energy, memory and cognitive skills. We did not have an actual diagnosis until the final weeks when hallucinations and delusions became very intense and his health rapidly declined. What a traumatic experience for both of us! He spent his final days at a hospice center and died peacefully.
