Gone a Year, Not Forgotten

It’s a year ago next week my dear husband Ben passed away after four years with LBD. I knew something was terribly wrong when I found him at the back door with a pistol in one hand and 911 on the phone in the other hand. He was convinced there were 7 burglars in the house. Nope.

It was a long journey of research, finding a helpful doctor, balancing meds and figuring out how to work around all the hallucinations and delusions, from thinking there were bear cubs in his pants legs to being sure he’d won Publishers’ Clearing House.

I’ve written a book to honor his memory and explain the process, the heartaches and laughs to you who are just starting the journey. When A Pistol and a Peck is published, I’ll let you know.
