Hallucinations & Delusions: Making Sense of Psychosis in LBD
Hallucinations? Delusions? Illusions? Capgras syndrome? These are common experiences in Lewy body dementia (LBD), affecting the majority of people with both dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and Parkinson’s disease dementia (PDD). However, they are also common in other diseases, and not everyone with LBD will experience them. In this webinar, Dr. Greg Pontone of the University of Florida will connect the dots and explain what you need to know about psychosis in LBD. In addition to clarifying the terminology, Dr. Pontone will discuss current treatment options and explore how research is lighting the way toward a deeper understanding of LBD psychosis in the future.
