LBDA

Welcome Boss Viewers

Lewy body dementia (LBD) is a common (but little-known) disease ready-made for a television drama.   From psychiatric symptoms like vivid hallucinations to unpredicatable changes in alertness and mental abilities, LBD nearly defies description.

And who better to play a character with such a devastiating diagnosis as Kelsey Grammer!  The opening scene includes a bleak description of the relentless progression of LBD, and from the moment of diagnosis, Grammer's face portrays the devastating loss of a man learning his life will be slowly stolen away.

LBDA invites you to browse our Visitor's Guide below to

  • Learn more about LBD
  • Find support if you or someone you care about is living with the disease
  • Get involved to bring LBD out of the shadows.

Together, we CAN make a difference in the lives of LBD families!
