New federal budget increases dementia funding

Federal Budget Includes New Research Funding

LBDA celebrates the announcement by the federal government that Alzheimer’s and dementia research has received federal funding in the new budget. The new federal spending bill includes the largest-ever increase for research of Alzheimer’s and related dementias, and also restores $1 billion in funding to the National Institutes of Health.
