She played a pivotal role in LBDA’s launch of the national, grass roots LBD awareness movement in 2010. In 2009, Coleen started the Allan D. Morrison 5K Run/Walk in Melrose, Mass., an annual race that raised over $75,000 dollars to support research and awareness of Lewy body dementia.
The host of the popular 9-year old program, Jacqueline Marcell, took care of her parents who had Alzheimer, compelling her to dedicate her life to eldercare awareness and reform.
