Lewy Body Dementia Association Call for Board Candidates
2009 board candidate recommendations due November 15, 2008

The LBDA Board Nominating Committee is looking for help in identifying individuals who would bring the skills, interest and expertise needed to effectively govern the association. If you know someone who fits this bill, please contact lendahand@lbda.org to submit a referral.

Board qualifications include:

* Strategic thinking
* Belief in and the ability to promote LBDA
* Financial literacy
* Ability to work effectively with others to achieve goals
* A willingness to make a personal financial commitment and support fundraising efforts
* Nonprofit board and/or corporate governance experience
* Availability for two board meetings a year in Atlanta, GA, occasional travel in your geographic region as an LBDA ambassador
