DVDs

Lewy Body Dementia - What Everyone Needs To Know-DVDs Featuring occupational therapist and dementia educator Teepa Snow, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA. 2013. Individuals will learn about some of LBD’s more challenging symptoms and caregiving scenarios, how to adapt caregiving skills to the needs of a person with LBD and how to utilize visual and verbal cues to increase understanding and cooperation. NOTE: Due to the overt manner in which certain caregiving challenges are presented in this DVD, it may be upsetting to individuals in the early stages of LBD and their family caregivers. LBDA suggests this resource is most appropriate for professionals or family caregivers of individuals in mid to late stages of LBD.
