why new passwords??

cdw Joined: Fri Nov 05, 2010 11:30 pm Posts: 300 Location: southern cali	why new passwords?? question please....why do we have new passwords setting every 6 months or so.. i have a couple of different devices i use to get in, so need to not only reset them all, but also remember a new password.....arghhhhhhhhhh!!! LOL if you go to google and type a few sentences, about lbg.. it brings up this forum and everything that is said in it?? i guess i'm confused..??? why the worry about privacy and up to date passwords?? thanks, cindi... _________________ CG for hubby. started showing symptoms in 2000, at 55, diagnosed at with AD at 62, LB at 64.. vietnam vet.. has ptsd, which doubled the chances for dementia...sprayed with agent orange. showing signs of parkinsons.

Cindy, The Administrator has found by changing passwords often it keeps our group spam free for the most part not perfect but better. Are you able to have the site remember your PW for you? Also, it's not like this is an investment account or other very private info. site, so if you have a notebook or something you can leave on or near your computer, you can just write it down and not worry about security.
