Kathy - it does sound like you had a very challenging day. Are you taking him back to his PCP? I hope today goes better. Lynn

He's also on Oxybutinin, wanted it years ago to keep from peeing so much at night. i wanted to get him off it, cut back to mornings because it caused confusion in the afternoon. Took him off and he REALLY got confused -weird! not sure how to wean him.

Very strange. The right answer is definitely not obvious when dealing with some meds and some people.

We are early in our diagnosis. I didn't really undestand the scope of the RX reactions until the hospital put John on IV flaggyl (antibiotic). Freaked him out, total delusions. Removed and flushed the IV and all returned to normal about an hour later. Scary.

Well, I've been giving him 1/4 Seroquel at lunch time and he's been pretty good. Actually joking around a whole lot today. Maybe we've found the balance -for now?
