Re: My father is not eating now.
Most people in comas do hear! With Lewy, of course, it's hard to know how much comprehension there is but we should always assume that they both hear and understand.
What a devoted and loving son you are, Emanuel! God bless you!

Re: My father is not eating now.
My father took his last breath at 1:31PM today. I was holding his hand at the time. It was a peaceful passing.

Re: My father is not eating now.
Sending a big cyber hug your way, Emmanuel. It may be rough for a while, but remind yourself that your poor dad is no longer suffering with this awful disease, and he went peacefully with his family around. Lynn

Emanuel, your father was blessed to have such a loving, caring son, and to have you with him to the end. May your memories of the good times comfort you. Our thoughts will be with you. Laurel

Re: My father is not eating now.
Dear Emanuel, sending hugs and prayers to you and your family. Take comfort from the fact that your Dad is now at peace, and that he will now look after your sister and yourself just the way ye looked after him, from a much better place. God Bless, and well done on the wonderful care ye gave him to the end, Ger x
