My MIL fell for the first time in a long time. You know how it goes - things are pretty "normal" and then kapow! Took her to ER by ambulance. She was in a lot of pain and it turned out to be 2 compression fractures. Now she cannot remember the fall or subsequent events. Keeps asking about why her back hurts. Poor sweet lady. She was not using her walker and either lost her balance or got dizzy from OH. Doesn't matter, does it? I wish I could tether her to that dang thing. As for me, I just found out I may hypochondrosis. It's genetic and causes all sorts of liver and heart problems. No symptoms, but my sister has it bad. Going for tests. Wish me luck. Not nervous, because I have no control over this. God only gives us what we can handle.
