Re: Headed to Mayoâ¦HABIT programâ¦Update back home
wowâ¦.
I have a lot to sayâ¦.but⦠it will have to waitâ¦.
it is time for a another cup of Chock Full O' Nutsâ¦.(always wanted to try thatâ¦DONE)
I feel like a new personâ¦..
I am going to take my time and put on paper what I really think about the programâ¦
I like the results so farâ¦.I am going to work hard to keep those results for as long as I canâ¦.
I had my daughter's helpâ¦.and will continue toâ¦.this is not a solo programâ¦.
Let me say this much for nowâ¦..I will back this up with more laterâ¦.
If you are a person with Cognitive Disorder NOS (Not Otherwise Specified) or Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI)â¦â¦or a partner or caregiver or family member or friend or someone who isâ¦.. If that person can still function independentlyâ¦.
This program is a life changerâ¦..or to be more specificâ¦.a life extenderâ¦..
Please take the time to look into itâ¦.if you want that independence to last longer and be better for everyoneâ¦..

Craig, Glad to hear all went so well. Thanks for the new term - Cognitive Disorder NOS. Does Mayo think you have Cognitive Disorder NOS? Robin

 Re: Headed to Mayoâ¦HABIT programâ¦Update day 4â¦.
Robin,
Mayo has me tagged MCIâ¦.Lewy Bodyâ¦.and a whole bunch of other unpleasant thingsâ¦. I guess when I eventually lose my independenceâ¦.we can drop the (M)â¦.mildâ¦. I do realize that tags have broader meanings and uses than just being correctâ¦. Pleasantries, niceties, access, legalâ¦.take your pickâ¦.
I was tagged Cognitive Disorder NOS 4 years agoâ¦..and again 1 year agoâ¦.pre Mayoâ¦. by Neuro Psych Exams in Knoxville areaâ¦.one at Patricia Neal Rehab Centerâ¦..just not bad enoughâ¦..I guessâ¦..
so, lumping that in hereâ¦..is all from meâ¦.and the rough road of experienceâ¦.
Pat, Ger,
thanksâ¦.for the kind words...

Hi Craig,
You sound so upbeat it is contagious! Thank you very much for sharing with all of us "out here". I eagerly look for new posts from you on how you and your daughter are doing. I think I can safely say that each of us who read what you write learn something that we can apply to benefit the ones we care for. Please keep us updated.
Prayers, Marilyn

robin,
thanks for the kind wordsâ¦tooâ¦
Marilyn,
its Show Time! or part time Superman!
you knowâ¦.I hope I amâ¦.
but, todayâ¦.I face fearâ¦.real fearâ¦.
I am alone todayâ¦.just meâ¦
a place where I can't exist for very much longerâ¦
after being immersed and bathed in love, kindness, understanding, trust-fall buildingâ¦never being left aloneâ¦.. never being left to do nothing⦠privileged to be doing that with some of the worlds greatestsâ¦..on both sides of the tablesâ¦.
the whole nine yardsâ¦.
I learned there, that everyone deals with this differentlyâ¦.one size does not fit allâ¦.
this is my wayâ¦
All of youâ¦are my Familyâ¦.you are my refugeâ¦.I feel safe hereâ¦I come here to not be alone⦠I come here to learn how to findâ¦real people like you...
