 Returning to Group It has been a very long time since I posted on this Forum so I will reintroduce myself. I am an American but have lived most of my life in Italy where my husband, Renzo, was diagnosed with LBD exactly 4 years ago. On April 25, 2009 I moved Renzo, myself and my dog, Ugo, back to the USA after 40 years. Primarily the move was for me to be closer to my family. I am not sure I made the right move but here I am. I have been posting on the Caringspouses Group for many years but I no longer felt welcome; in fact I felt very unwelcome.
Renzo is probably in stage 3 and although is still mobile is showing serious signs of deteriorating. This past month he fell from bed, banging his head. Two days later he began having seizures which we are keeping under control with anti seizure meds.
This is more than enough for a first post. I look forward to getting to know you. IreneM

(joke, joke) I came back when Dale took a downturn and I wanted more answers. I have found a home here and absolutely love the format. I hope you will be as happy here as I am. (((((big hug)))))

Re: Returning to Group Hello, I am new to this forum but was a member of the LBD Caregivers site. I was not welcomed anymore at the Caregivers site. This is because I am a bit unconventional in my out look on life.
My husband Fran was finally dx with LBD this year, although we have been fighting this disease for almost 12 years. He had many wrong dx during this time. I am guessing that he is now in stage 4. He has very poor motor control, dementia, hallucinations and delusions. So glad to be able to post once again. Bernie

Nice to see you posting again though you've changed your username! I remember everyone fondly from the "EricSEA" days.
As I recall, the initial diagnosis for your husband seemed somewhat uncertain as he hadn't had any hallucinations. Have things changed in that regard??
I didn't know you had moved from Italy. Have you found a good MD for your husband?
