 Re: Tech Issues
I can't see a home page no matter what I do, including using my Favorites. I get a screen that the home page is under construction. I haven't been able to get on chat since I can't get a working home page. Has anyone been on chat lately?

 Re: Tech Issues
Lynn, I just now accessed the home page by using the url lbda.org. I was able to get the chat line screen using the pulldown menu and I got on the chatline as usual. It looks like other people can get on too. I hope you can work it out. Good luck. Annie

 Re: Tech Issues
Have you hit F5 to refresh your page? Sounds like you've got a page in your cache from when the transition occurred (so lbda.org was down).

 Re: Tech Issues
Thanks ladies. I was able to get back on the home page by typing in Lewybodydmentia.org Nothing else worked! But, now I know I can get to the chat again which is very helpful. Lynn

 Re: Tech Issues
LBDA - For the first time, I've seen spam postings on this site. I thought the "uprgrade" was supposed to prevent spam?? Robin

Apparently the powers that be are sleep at the wheel... The spammer is having a field day.

 Re: Tech Issues
Yes, Robin, you are right. I am glad we've always been advised NOT to post our own emails or other identifying info. on the forum. Now we have really good examples of why. Is anyone out there listening who can get this spammer off? Hello?

 Re: Tech Issues
Quite ironic that the "upgrade" was supposed to increase spam protection, and I've never seen spammers post until after the "upgrade."
Since we're now going on the third day of the spammer's presence, I've emailed the LBDA and left them voicemail. We'll see how long it takes to get fixed.

 Re: Tech Issues
One improvement in the new format: You can now edit your posts right away instead of waiting.

 Re: Tech Issues
I would always get a notice that said I could not post again so soon and had to wait, maybe thirty seconds.

 Re: Tech Issues
Exchanged email with the LBDA staff member in charge of the Forum a bit ago. It seems that he's deleted the spammer's posts along with some posts in "LBD Research" that were talking about the spammer.

 Re: Tech Issues
Well, there's already another spammer this morning. Seems like we need to reverse the software upgrade because this isn't working.
