"Special thanks to Jim Manner and Irene Selak"
(From the LBDA)
Special thanks also go to Jim Manner and Irene Selak who were nominated for the 2009 Volunteer of the Year award. Thank you all very much. It is a labor of love. As frustrating as the spammers become at times, it is SO good to assist caregivers and patients to join the forum. To give a bit of background, there is no LBD in my family, but was looking for somewhere to volunteer. I never dreamed it would blossom into something as rewarding as this. Speaking of spammers, time to zap a couple!

A special thanks to all the good wishes and a special thanks to Robin for bringing this to the forum members. LBD has been a passion of mine even long before my husband passed away with complications of the LBD but after his passing it became a need , I have to find a reason as to why I had to have this loss in my life. If I can be there for just one person then it is all worth it, all those years ago when I started out just learning of LBD there was very little information out there. I also have to say thank you to many forum members who help others along, special thanks to Robin for all the help she gives so many!

Thank you so much, Irene and James, for this forum without which I never could have survived. It's been almost 10 years living with PE and The Lewys. Every day I come here to hear about everyone's trials and I think of all those going through this horrible disease. Just clicking in helps to give some extra energy to "make" through the day. So again, we are all so grateful. Dinny Wolff
