Post frustrations galore
While waiting for a new physical threrapist to come, I printed the article, "!0 Things You Should Know about LBD", knowing full well that the sweet young thing will never have heard of this condition in which we live.

Wish me luck.

Wishing you great luck in this Dorthea! I have been very fortunate so far with the physical therapist, occupational therapist and Henry's home worker - they all know about LBD. I am very surprised each time a new one comes to the house - even the pharmacist knows about it, mind you one of them didn't and another one came over and brought him right up to snuff on what it was all about. We live in a fairly small community but it is sure getting around, I pray that it will go much farther though.

Let us know whether your new PT does know or not please.

Great idea! Going to print one out too. Good thing to have on hand.
We started a lady who comes in a few days a week in the a.m. to help my hubby shower, shave, dress and take a little walk, then she helps me for an hour, folding clothes, etc. ... she had not heard of LBD...I sat her down and had her read some of the info here and some of the posts so she will know what we are up against. Will also give it to the mgr of the agency for future reference.

Good thoughts to all this evening. :)
