just found out to day mum has mrsa told not to worry but feel should as i was under th illusion she had a iu infection told mrsa bug only harmful if have acut on skin which mum has and is being treated this last 5 weeks only precaution told to take was to wash hands whilst entering ward and upon leaving things dont sound right have requested a meeting with doctor tomorrow as family annoyed we were not told of infection and only cause niece saw creams on locker and has some medical knowledge she approached nursing staff who said they thought we had been told as results came back fri now sunday has anyone come across this infection before

I really don't know much about it but I have heard it is some sort of steph infection I believe, I found a page on it . may help to understand it.
