 droooooooooling
What to do for a LO who has begun to drool alot? He's quite embarrassed by it. The saliva buildup also causes him to cough and gag at night when going to sleep. And if he has trouble sleeping, believe me, so do I.

 Re: droooooooooling
Interestingly enough, Derek's drooling improved a lot when his new neuro increased his Sinemet. Interesting because he didn't expect it to help that. It did not improve his mobility, which he did expect. And it makes him a little more agitated. Everything is a tradeoff.

 Re: droooooooooling
Stella, Frank was dx, officially, in 2007 and with the confusion, hallucinations, diarhhea episodes, capgras, and all the other fun stuff that comes with the disease, I find the drooling is the most difficult part. He knows he drools but doesn't get the connection to wipe it. We have face clothes in every room, he gets annoyed when I keep wiping it. My socks are alway wet, he leaves puddles everywhere and most of our wood furniture has rings on it where the saliva has eaten thru the finish. We've tried a few meds and he got botox injections and nothing helped.
PLEASE let me know if you find anything that helps.
Take Care, Gerry
