Cara, I am so sorry for the turn of events for your Mom, I am glad you have her home and with the help of hospice they will make her last days comfortable and pain free. Life sure does take some strange twists and turns !

Cara - I'm so sorry for the recent issues with your mom's health. Last week a very close friend's sister died quite suddenly, after feeling like she had the flu for a few days. Upon autopsy they discovered what sounds much like your mom's situation. The medical examiner told my friend it was most likely caused by the heavy duty psychiatric meds this woman had been on for about 25 years. Making your mom as comfortable as possible sounds like that's what's needed now, and I hope hospice will come in and help you out in her remaining time. Big hug, Lynn

Cara, So sorry it has all come down to this. we all wonder where Lewy will let us off this rollercoaster. Seems we fight right to the bitter end. I pray you find peace and your mother finds comfort.
