Post Tooth extraction
My mother is having a tooth extracted tomorrow. Does anyone know off hand if there are any drugs (e.g., anesthetics) used (or anything else typically done) by dentists that should be avoided?

No problem with novocaine unless there is an allergy to it. My husband continues to do well at the dentist except for getting him in and out of the chair. I should think nitrous oxide might be a bad choice.

I agree, Pat, about the nitrous oxide. I think that's when this downturn first happened with Dale. I would not have done it knowing what I know now.

Thanks for the heads up about nitrous oxide! I will definitely mention it to the dentist tomorrow. Surely there is an alternative.
