Maybe Robin could look up whether anybody has ever studied dementia in corporate bodies!

I hope Medicare doesn't pay that much because they really only cost about $2500! OTOH, it wouldn't surprise me. I seem to remember the strips are about $5 each, have to be kept in the refrigerator and warmed to room temp before using.

It would surprise me greatly, knowing how little they pay various health care providers. Insurance companies do that, too. Which means that the only people who pay full price are the uninsured, and they have to pay enough to compensate for the under-payment of insurers, including government agencies.
Do we have a screwy way of paying for health care, or what?
