Just found this thread. Wonderful!
I am an artist. I will be sure to post something when I start working again.
Lynn's collages are beautiful!

I wish we had a button to click on for things like this [such as on Facebook] so we could acknowledge that we like the watercolors that our artists do without using a new entry therefore moving away from the beauty itself.

Like! DrP

Dorothea - thank you! And I have wished so many times there were a "like" button like on FB. There are so many posts I'd like to "like" but don't feel a written response is always needed.

I'll post another one I painted very recently for you to see. Lynn

We do not have these trees here in South East Louisiana. Lovely to see. DrP

I did not grow up with birch trees in Maryland, either. My first time seeing birches was in New Hampshire when I was 15. Fell in love with the whiteness of the bark, with the dark markings up and down the trunk and branches. Little did I know back then that I would spend my whole adult life (so far, anyway!) in New England with lots of birches. They are my favorite tree to paint. Here's another for you to enjoy! Lynn

PS - this is any acrylic painting. Just started painting in acrylics a couple of months ago.

I'm a fan of watercolor but the brilliance of the acrylic is gorgeous. I enjoy all of the paintings. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Thanks so much, ladies! I love birch trees and painting them. I was out today taking photos of fall leaves, streams & rocks today in the Mad River Valley in central Vermont. What a gorgeous day, and I can't wait to make some paintings based on some of the scenery we enjoyed. I'll post again one of these days when I get some new paintings done. Have a great weekend everyone! Lynn
