Post Never underestimate the threat of violence
This 72-year old man who has dementia picked the lock of his wife's bedroom door [the fact it was locked tells you something] and murdered her with a hatchet. http://blogs.seattletimes.com/today/2013/07/bellevue-man-sentenced-to-25-years-for-killing-sleeping-wife-with-hatchet/

Sounds like there's more to that story than LBD! But definitely you have to be aware and safe whenever you're in the caregiver role!
