Di ..... I can't help but chime in on this one because 'as needed' is so difficult for me to guess. Dale will have a perfectly wonderful day and then a terrible night and so I never know at bedtime what will get him through the night.

Last night, I obviously gave him too much Xanax (as per doctor's instructions!) and he not only slept soundly all night but he was sleepy all morning. I'm not going to do that again. I think the med adds to his delusions and hallucinations. They seem worse today.

I wish there was a way to tell exactly what he needs.....

When there is so much fluctuation inherent in Lewy, how could we ever find an optimum medication regimen?
