Perry,
After almost 3 years of hallucination and other bad stuff, hubby was finally dx'd with LBD in Oct 2008. He did not tolerate aricept or the exelon patch. In Dec of 2008 he was prescribed namenda (10 mg in the morning - 10 mg at bedtime). That turned him around 360 degrees. He is doing just fine now. No more hallucination, delusions, or illusions (visual or auditory). No more capgras.
He takes 100 mg seroquel (which we are slowly weaning him off) and 0.25 mg of klonopin at bedtime. This is what works with him and I am so thankful. Amazing that they can all have such similar experiences and still be so individual in their tolerances. (Especially to drugs.)
