 Re: Shaving
I've never tried this, but what about some of the acne facial cleansers on the market? If you bought something like that for oily skin maybe that would "melt" the dead skin cells away. Another thing I thought of is jewelry cleaner. What you don't want is anything that would cause a waxy buildup obviously since you already have that to get rid of! Dawn dish detergent maybe would work too??? Lynn

 Re: Shaving
I am just throwing this out there for cleaning the electric razor heads, what about baking powder, thats what I use to clean my hair brushes and it really cleans them so well.

 Re: Shaving
I find the best thing for cleaning hairbrushes [and it might work for shaver heads] is soaking them in dishwasher detergent in some hot water.

 Re: Shaving
Maybe we should just put them in the dishwasher.

 Re: Shaving
You know, that's probably a good idea too! I put lots of stuff in my dishwasher that you wouldn't think to put there. BTW, I cleaned a sterling silver chain a few days ago, by mistake, with glass stove top cleaner (the bottle is so similar to my silver polish bottle). It did a great job! You just never know..... Re: Shaving
Thanks, everybody! I have been wondering what I would do about this once John becomes unable to handle it. Your solutions sound doable---very practical and helpful. Hugs, PatS
