Post caregiver health
I was reading some of the posts and came across people saying that 60% of caregivers do not outlast the patient. I find this horrifying to say the least. Is that true? Where are those articles that talk about that? I would be interested in reading them.
I am quite concerned. I have been taking care of my LO for a very long time. I lost my business, home and have nothing left. I don't want to die before he does!

Self-care is a necessity, not a luxury.

I can't put my hands quickly on the statistics you are referring to. The best source I know of for this sort of info is Family Caregiver Alliance, or one of the other national caregiving organizations. You may find some of this data of interest:
