Post Cannot enter Early LBD forum section?
My husband has lbd and is only 57. (He has had it several years now) I tried to enter the section for Early Onset lbd and message stated that I had no authorization? Just a little confused. This is first time I've used this site.Any pointers? Thanks so much. :?:

Terry - I've sent your question to Matt, the forum tech guru. Hopefully he'll be able to help with this.

I'm in the same bucket. I requested entry into that forum via the Admin back when I first joined. Have yet to be given access :(

That area is only for people who actually have LBD. Caregivers and others not allowed there. It is strictly for those with the disease and was set up several years ago for that group only. Lynn

See Lynn's note above - the early onset forum is only for people who actually HAVE early onset LBD. Caregivers, family members, etc. are not allowed. The moderator must approve all access to the forum.

Thanks for the info. KInd of strange? My husband has lbd. He probably could not remember his sign on name/password to get into a website anyway? So, not sure how it would be for patients only? LOL. BUT, some days he is better than others and can remember these types of things. I write them down for him and keep by the computer. Thanks anyways for answering my question. Still learning as I search and make mistakes with this website!!!

That's why the topic says "for early LBD". There are people on here who were diagnosed early and can use the section, although no one has in a very long time. Lynn

And I thought that "early LBD" was a forum for caregivers who were living with someone in the early stages of LBD, not with a person having early age onset LBD, and I couldn't understand why my access was denied.

Me too, hence my initial confusion. Perhaps a title change is in order?

"Support Group for Those with Early LBD" is the title currently. Do you think if the word "patients" was inserted after "those" it would clarify the meaning? If so, you should probably write to one of the administrators. Since the rest of the forum is basically for caregivers, it is clear to me that "those" refers to LBD patients, but it sounds like at least a few people are confused…

Yes "Current Patients with Early LBD" - something to that effect.

Perhaps "Private Forum for Patients with Early Onset LBD" would work?

OK - I will send the suggestion to Admin. Thanks for everyone's thoughts on this. It will be nice if we can reduce some confusion.
