 Removing Residual Adhesive
This may sound silly to many, but how are you removing the residual adhesive left behind by the Exelon patch? I've tried soap, alcohol, and nail polish remover. The soap doesn't work at all, nor does the alcohol. The nail polish remover works if I rub and rub. My husband's skin is already tender and having his skin absorb the acetone is not good. There's got to be a better, safe, way to do it. The little rings do help me know where "not" to put the patch the next day, and the next, but they are unsightly. My mind just can't think of a solution.
Best regards, Terri

 Re: Removing Residual Adhesive
Did you already try a little skin lotion, or even Pam cooking spray? Worth a try.

 Re: Removing Residual Adhesive
There is a medical adhesive remover available that can be ordered online. They come in little individual packets, like alcohol wipes. I ordered them from a medical supply company where I ordered the catheter supplies but Amazon carries some: http://www.amazon.com/Pdi-Adhesive-Remover-Packet-Applicator/dp/B0015THZCQ In lieu of that, mineral oil [or even cooking oil, as suggested] works pretty well.

 Re: Removing Residual Adhesive
I used to use a little bit of baby oil, just a drop or two and it helped with getting it off the skin in a gentle way !

I've used baby oil too, as well as Vaseline or any mild, oily beauty product. They seem to work well and don't have side effects.
