How do we remove him from the environment?

I do indeed have his POA and medical advocacy. The great relief is that I am beginning to believe I won't have to go to court for guardianship.
I really really didn't want to have to do that, so I was indeed, depending/hoping/praying upon some rationale thinking. I think we'd gotten it...

You have been able to overcome a large amount of obstacles in a relatively short period of time - congratulations! Getting through each step kinda gives us strength to get through the next step or two. Good for you to hang in there and keep working till you got your dad moved and in a safe place.
