 Hello Hello--My name is Nancy and my dad was diagnosed with LBD about 3.5 years ago. Although we can now see that there were symptoms long before the diagnosis. My dad is in the final stage and is now under hospice care just this week. I have been reading the board for quite sometime now but just decided to come out of hiding. Everyone seems to be so compasionate here.

Nancy,
Sorry to know that your dad is in the final stage. Placing a family member on hospice can be a very hard thing to do...just another step in the road of decline and loss.

Sorry you have to be here Nancy, but getting on the forum and chat can really be a helpful thing to those of us dealing with LBD in our lives. I find it really helpful and supportive. It's nice to have a community of people who know what you are going through. I'm trying right now to get my dad hospice services - he is 88 and in what I think are the final stages, plus he has a few other health issues. Welcome! Lynn
