Post Nutrition
Hello, I have just joined this forum. My father has LBD and lives with me and my husband. We just came back from a 4 day hospital stay for Dad due to gallbladder that had to be removed. I have him home and he has only had intake of a maybe 10 sips of liquid and about four bites of soft food. Any suggestions?
Thank you all for the stories you have shared thus far.

Hi Beth,
Welcome to the forum! You can get lots of good advice here. I'm not sure how long it takes to recuperate from a gall bladder operation so your Dad might not be able to eat too much at first. I would definitely talk to the doctor and see what they recommend. Hydration is always important so make sure he keeps sipping liquids. It's always stressful coming back from the hospital so hang in there!
