Post LBD [or Cognitive] neurologist in Inland Empire, SoCA?
Can anyone recommend either a Lewy Body Disease specialist or cognitive neurologist in the Inland Empire of Southern California?
Thanks so much,
Roxanne

Are you in Riverside county or San Bernardino county? (I've been doing a few brain donation arrangements in Riverside County so am a little familiar with that area.)

Renata ("raffcons") used to live in the Palm Springs area so she is an excellent contact point if that's the area you live in. I think she found someone decent at Eisenhower Medical Center.

Have you contacted the LBD support group leaders in the area? See the list on lbda.org.

Have you contacted the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association?

The email support group in California called Link2Care (link2care.net) has loads of SoCal AD caregivers who are members. An AD specialist at UC Riverside has been mentioned a few times. (Sorry, I didn't pay attention for the name. But you could join and post there.)

Robin ~ SB co. but close to Riverside Co. Why didn't I think about UC Riverside... [it is my alma mater]! That may just be the best resource. The closest LBD support group that I have found is all the way in Orange Co. - 2 hours away - I am going today if the weather cooperates. Also I emailed the High Desert LBD group contact person and didn't hear back. I will try again on that one.
Thanks so much,
Roxanne

Hi Robin ~ Wanted to let you know I am still searching for that elusive cognitive neurologist or LBD specialist in the Inland Empire. Nor have I had any luck tracking down the AD specialist at UCR. Still have a few more leads to follow, however, it appears there are few dementia researchers/specialists in the Inland Empire, if any....
All the best,
Roxanne
