Craig, thank you so much for sharing, I see much of what you wrote in my hb's struggles to communicate. I think "normal" is whatever makes our LO's feel least stressed, but that's not always easy to figure out. Is it more stressful for them to worry about disturbing people in the middle of the night, or more stressful for them to go without something they need? Bless you, please continue writing when you feel like it.
Sandwich mom, I'm so sorry to hear of your mother's newest fall. Her desire to stand may indicate a return to her pre-injury level, I certainly hope so. Every second with this condition is unpredictable, and we're continually learning from one another's experiences.
