Change in lean
Derek used to lean to the right when sitting but this year he is leaning even more heavily to the left [not talking about politics here ]. Has anyone else seen a change in lean direction? What might cause this?

The direction of the lean can change over time. The time period can also be short -- a day even.
In PD, while the symptoms start off unilaterally, over time the weakness is on both sides of the body. Maybe the overall decline in your husband has made both sides of his body equally weak.

But he only leans to the left now. In fact it's quite impossible to keep him propped up.

Pat, I am pretty sure Jim just leaned to only one side and it was the left but after thinking abut it when trying to walk him his body seemed to go to the right as there were a few times I had to let go or we would have both fallen, how terrible is that so maybe he did lean 2 differnt ways and I a just didn't realize it.
