 Last Few Days more sleeping
Since Monday, Chris has slept just about the whole day..except to go to the BR or eat...which I am having to feed him mostly. Last night, he slept the whole night and never got up to go to the BR. This AM, he was dry and had no interest in his breakfast. I am hoping we are not looking at an infection brewing, but really he has no signs of any infection. He is just so quiet and so VERY calm. Never seen him like this before...even when he was healthy! He is not taking any new meds or anything. Really odd for him. Maybe he is worn out?

At least he's still getting up to go to the bathroom!
This could be an infection or could be a sign that he's entering the final stages. Has he been around anyone with a cold? Is he sleeping 21+ hours/day? Do you have the help of hospice?

A cold or infection was the first thing I thought of...but I don't think so. He could be in the end stage, but gee, we were just diagnosed 3 weeks ago! He has grown so quiet and calm it is almost scary. I have been pushing some extra fluids to keep him hydrated. I guess time will tell us more.

Quote: we were just diagnosed 3 weeks ago I think that's the way most of us Lewy spouses feel.

Re: Last Few Days more sleeping
Boy, that's the truth. I married him when I was 20 years old and it has been "WE" ever since. We have been married 32 years and have gone through hell and high water, literally, over the past 32 years. I told him two weeks ago, I did not know what kind of pergatory he was in, but I was there with him all the way! So, when he is in hell, I guess WE are in hell.
