 Re: Seroquel
Why do you think 'new meds' are involved with Gerry's tale of woe, Pat? I haven't given anything new to Dale.
As far as I know, Dale is still playing. He is now lying on the bed.

 Re: Seroquel
Read her last post in this thread, Leone. She says he still hasn't recovered 3 weeks after stopping it [the new med].

 Re: Seroquel
Yes, I saw that .... but I didn't put the two together. I guess that's because his behavior sounds so much like what Dale might do and we haven't tried anything new.
My confusion.... sorry. I'm not playing with a full deck recently. This is all too much for me.

 Re: Seroquel
I'm convinced that most of the steep declines are just part of Lewy. This has been the case with Derek and, as you say, with Dale. But I was curious to know if there was another drug out there we should be wary of in case some well-meaning physician should order it.

 Re: Seroquel
Dale just asked if it was time to play another round.... and then he said, "You want to play too - using one of my freebies - don't you?"
Cute, huh?

 Re: Seroquel
Just before Thanksgiving Frank took Sal-Tropine to see if it would help with his drooling. It helped immediately and continued to be drool free for 4 days with no signs of added symptoms. Starting the 5th day the drooling was back as bad as ever and he was more confused, delusional, and increased hallucinations. I emailed his Dr. and we discontinued the med. Today it has been 3 weeks since we stopped, he has improved, but very little. I realize and always say, maybe it's just the progression of Lewy, who knows. Phyically he couldn't be healthier but he just doesn't seem to process anything, it looks like we play chardes here.
