 PD vs. dementia symptoms
Since the onset of his LBD, my husband has exhibited both PD and dementia symptoms but in the past two years, the dementia seems to be accelerating at a much higher rate than the PD. Is this typical? He takes Stalevo for PD and Exelon patch for dementia.

Yes, this is typical. If you have LBD with parkinsonism, you will find the parkinsonism to be slowly progressive. PD itself is a slowly progressing disorder.
If you have LBD without parkinsonism, you may only find very subtle signs of parkinsonism towards the end of life.
