Vicodin Question - Namenda Question - hallucinations

 Vicodin Question - Namenda Question - hallucinations Has anyone had their LO start to experience visual hallucinations AFTER starting Vicodin or Namenda?
Vicodin 5/500 Namenda 10mg
Hallucinations involving people or animals are fairly new to my dad and these are two new medications he gets. I didn't know if hallucinations were being caused by either of these or were just part of the disease.

Any narcotic, such as Vicodin, can have hallucinations as a side effect.
One doesn't hear about Namenda causing hallucinations too often.
You can check the side effects of any medication at a website such as rxlist.com or drugs.com.
Hallucinations are part of LBD. For proper treatment of this symptom, see Dr. Boeve's "Continuum" paper on lbda.org.

My aunt was on this Namenda and I noticed her hallucinations worsened right away so we took her off of it immediately. Good luck and God bless!

I didn't notice any adverse effects form Namemda, it seemed to help a little.

Kim,
Yes with Vicodin, we used it after a spinal fracture and it cause major issues for my husband.We never used Namenda so I can't say for that one.If you go to the search box type in Namenda and I am sure there are many posts there that you can look through.
