Post Household safety
I'm new to this forum but I haven't seen this topic yet. My dad, recently diagnosed with LBD, is constantly cutting off his gps monitor. We've hidden the knives and scissors but he always finds them. We need to lock them up but I don't know if baby drawer locks will work, it seems when he has a mind to he can open anything, even when most of the time he can't figure out the most simple things. Does anyone have any good suggestions, my mother needs the knives to cook. He also can at times get violent when he is agitated so knives and scissors are a scary thing.

Just based on our experience, the medications were causing a lot of the problems that Mom was having with aggression, wandering and digging in things. Once the Sentimet and Seroquel were removed all of that improved. It's different for each patient though.
